Most of us can name a hundred brands but not one endangered reef. EcoQuest exists to tip that balance back — one mystery zone at a time.
EcoQuest is a geography and ecology guessing game you play in your web browser at ecoquest.app. Each zone is a real place: a reef, a rainforest, a polar sea. You hunt it down on the world map with a handful of pins, then meet the creatures that live there — the walking shark, the golden jellyfish, the tortoise that outlives centuries — and collect their species cards as you learn.
We built it on a simple belief: people protect what they love, and they love what they know. Nobody falls in love with a statistic. They fall in love with a place.
Play funds protection
Rachamim Labs pledges 20% of EcoQuest's revenue to environmental conservation partners. This is a structural commitment by the company — written into how the studio operates, not an optional add-on or a sales tactic.
Every year we publish exactly where that money went on the Impact page, naming each recipient and amount. We only ever claim what we've actually given, never outcomes we can't verify.
So when you play EcoQuest, the chain is short and honest: you explore a wild place in the game, and part of what you paid helps look after wild places in the world.
What the game is (and isn't)
EcoQuest is a digital game — there is no physical product and nothing is shipped. It's free to start: ten zones are free to play forever, as a guest, with no account required. Beyond those, four themed expedition packs (coral reefs, rainforests, cold waters, and peaks, plains & islands) are available as one-time purchases that unlock instantly in your account and stay yours — no subscription, no recurring charge, no in-game currency. Accounts are optional, collect an email address only, and exist purely to save your progress. Accounts are for players aged 13 and over.
Who runs EcoQuest
EcoQuest is built and operated by Rachamim Labs Pty Ltd, a venture studio registered in New South Wales, Australia (ACN 700 315 868).
Payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), our merchant of record and authorised reseller. When you buy a pack, Paddle handles the checkout, charges you, collects any applicable taxes, and issues your receipt.
