Yes. Host or join a party match for 2–5 friends. You play five timed map rounds, then ten wildlife questions from those zones, all on one scoreboard. Everyone needs an account. There is no public lobby, so you only ever play with people you invited.

A party match has the same feel: timed questions and one scoreboard your friends are all watching. The difference is the subject. EcoQuest’s match is a hosted geography and wildlife game for 2–5 friends, not a tool for writing quizzes on any topic. Kahoot! is a trademark of Kahoot! ASA. EcoQuest is not affiliated with Kahoot and is not a classroom product.

Yes, when you host a party match. Your guests play from your unlocked zones for that match only. Nothing unlocks on their account: no pack, no atlas progress, no mastery. If they want to explore those zones on their own later, they buy the expedition themselves. See Play with friends and the Expedition Store.

After a Daily, a result card that shows how you did without giving the place away. After a party match, the scoreboard and an invite link. Any species card you have unlocked can be shared as an image. Sharing uses your device’s own share sheet, a download or a copy. EcoQuest does not publish a public profile page for you. On some browsers you can also save a short clip of your pin trail from a Daily or a zone find.

Yes. Ten zones are free forever, with no account and no payment. Start as a guest and play straight away. Beyond those, four biome expeditions and Wild Australia are optional one-time purchases. See the pricing page.

Nothing to start. Biome expeditions are one-time purchases: US$4.99 for any one, US$8.99 for any two, and US$12.99 for all four. You only pay the difference for expeditions you do not already own. Wild Australia is a separate one-time purchase at US$7.00. All four biome expeditions plus Wild Australia are US$19.99. Prices are in US dollars, and any tax is added at checkout. No. You can play the whole free trail as a guest. An account is optional and saves your progress across devices. It needs an email address, and you can add an explorer name for the leaderboards if you like. We do not ask for your real name, phone number or precise location. Accounts are for players aged 13 and over.

One-time. You pay once, the zones unlock in your account and stay yours. There is no subscription, no recurring charge and no in-game currency. Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. See the refund policy for how refunds work.

Ask within 14 days of a purchase and we will refund it. That is on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and other consumer laws that apply to you. The refund and cancellation policy has the details.

EcoQuest is a general-audience game for players aged 13 and over. Creating an account asks you to confirm your age.

As little as we need to run the game. Guests play with no email: your progress stays on your device, and finished rounds may be stored under an anonymous device id so they can be linked if you later sign up. Accounts use your email (and optional explorer name) plus your gameplay progress, play attempts, and product events such as a signup, a store step, opening your collection, or finishing Daily. Explorer names and scores may appear on leaderboards; your email never does. We use cookieless site analytics and have no advertising tracking pixels. We do not send community expedition email. Rachamim Labs gives 25% of revenue from every EcoQuest map pack to WildArk. Donations are transferred quarterly. Revenue means the map-pack price, after refunds, and does not include the tax added at checkout. Paddle’s fee is not taken out before the 25% is calculated.
