EcoQuest is free to start. The Explorer Trail — ten zones in total — is free to play, with no purchase and no account payment required.
The four paid expeditions are one-time purchases. They are not subscriptions: you pay once, the zones unlock in your account, and there is no recurring charge.

Each paid expedition unlocks ten new zones.
Tropical jungles and the great ancient forests
Coral reefs, rivers, wetlands and mangroves
Polar seas, the open ocean and the deep
Mountains, grasslands and the great deserts
What it costs
The price depends on how many expeditions you unlock, not which ones. Pick any expeditions you like — the tier is set by the count.
You can buy incrementally over time, and you never pay twice for an expedition you already own. If you own some expeditions and add more, you pay only the difference to reach the next tier. Every path to owning all four expeditions totals exactly US$12.99 — buy the full set at once or add expeditions one at a time; the total is the same either way.
The full US$12.99 bundle unlocks the four expeditions listed above. Future expeditions, if we add them, are sold separately.
Taxes, currency and receipts
Prices are shown in US dollars. Your final price at checkout may include local sales tax or VAT depending on where you are, and may be shown in your local currency.
Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle charges you, handles applicable taxes, and emails your receipt. Your card or bank statement will show a charge from Paddle (or "Paddle.net"), not from EcoQuest directly.
Refunds
Purchases can be refunded within 14 days — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy for how refunds work and what happens to your unlocked zones.
