Welcome to EcoQuest. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Rachamim Labs Pty Ltd ("the Company", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in New South Wales, Australia (ACN 700 315 868), which operates EcoQuest at ecoquest.app (the "Service").
By using EcoQuest or buying a zone pack, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. What EcoQuest is
EcoQuest is a web-based geography and ecology guessing game. You explore real habitats, guess their locations, and collect species cards. Some zones are free; others are unlocked by buying zone packs. EcoQuest is a digital service — there is no physical product and nothing is shipped.
2. Eligibility and younger players
EcoQuest is a general-audience game. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account — we ask your age range at sign-up and don't allow account creation below that age. If you are under 18, you may use EcoQuest only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. Purchases may only be made by a person aged 18 or over (or the legal age of majority where you live), or by a minor with the permission of the account's responsible adult. If you are a parent or guardian, you are responsible for purchases made through an account you oversee.
3. Your account
You can play the free zones as a guest, with no account. To save your progress and to access packs you've bought, you create an account with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us at support@ecoquest.app if you think your account has been used without your permission.
You agree to give accurate account information and to keep it up to date.
4. Purchases, pricing and payments

One-time purchases. EcoQuest zone packs are sold as one-time purchases, not subscriptions. You pay once per purchase and there is no recurring charge.

Pricing. Current prices are on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars and may have local tax or VAT added at checkout depending on where you are. We may change prices, but a change never affects a purchase you've already made.

Merchant of record. Payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates), our authorised reseller and merchant of record. When you buy a pack, your contract for that payment is with Paddle, and Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to the transaction. Paddle charges you, collects applicable taxes, and issues your receipt.

Delivery. Purchased packs unlock in your account immediately after payment is confirmed. There is nothing to download or install.

What you get. A purchase unlocks the specific packs described at checkout. The full bundle unlocks the four launch packs; it does not include future packs we may release later.
5. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: you can request a refund within 14 days, and an approved refund removes the packs unlocked by that purchase. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and your local consumer-protection laws are not limited by these Terms.
6. Licence to play
When you buy a pack, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and play those zones for your own non-commercial enjoyment. You are buying access to digital content, not ownership of the game or its content. You may not resell, sublicense, rent, or transfer access to packs or to your account.
7. Acceptable use
To keep EcoQuest safe and fair for everyone, you agree not to:

use the Service for anything unlawful, or in breach of these Terms;
•
copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the game's content, code, or data, except where the law expressly allows it;
•
circumvent, disable, or interfere with payment, entitlement, or security features — including trying to unlock packs you haven't paid for;
•
use bots, automated scripts, or other means to access the Service or manipulate gameplay, scores, or purchases;
•
resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its content;
•
disrupt or overload the Service or the infrastructure it runs on; or
•
misuse the refund process (for example, buying and refunding repeatedly to access packs without paying).
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
EcoQuest, including its name, logo, game design, text, species content, maps, artwork, and software, is owned by the Company or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms don't give you any rights in our intellectual property beyond the limited licence to play in section 6.
9. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep EcoQuest available, but we don't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change, or add features, and we may suspend or discontinue parts of the Service. If we permanently discontinue a paid pack you own, we'll act reasonably and in line with your consumer-law rights.
10. Disclaimers
EcoQuest is a game provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we take care that species facts are accurate and sourced, we don't warrant that all content is complete or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, and except for rights that can't be excluded under consumer law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the purchase giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in your own country.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top and, for significant changes, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use EcoQuest after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Changes never apply retroactively to purchases you've already made.
